Jacobson + Niswender is a film studio in San Francisco. We make launch films, brand stories, and series for the companies building what's next, and we make them the way films get made rather than the way content gets produced. The default in our industry is cheap, safe, and never watched twice. We start somewhere else: with the condition your customer is already living inside, the frustration or fear or small daily indignity they'd recognize instantly and have never seen named out loud. If a film needs a line telling you what it means, it isn't finished.

Founded by Clark Jacobson and Aidan Niswender, a directing duo based in San Francisco, California. The premise is simple: the tools, the crews, and the storytelling standards of Hollywood belong to the brands and technologists building the future, not just to the movies. So we bring them: real scripts, real casting, real coverage, a shoot day run like a shoot day. We've made films with Known, Extra, Roon, Sunski, Table22, Odessia, Gauge, and Dynasty, for teams backed by a16z, Forerunner, NFX, and Y Combinator.
